Jack in the Box is putting a new player in the crispy chicken sandwich foray with its newly introduced Cluck Sandwich featuring pickles and what the brand calls a "mystery sauce" on a brioche bun. To celebrate the launch, Jack in the Box has partnered with singer and actress Becky G to create a brand new chicken dance for fans to learn and share on social media, a news release said.
To add to all the clucking, customers who share their dances using #JacksNewChickenDance between now and Valentine's Day will see Jack in the Box give a dollar to No Kid Hungry, up to $100,000.
Jack Box and Becky G's dance is inspired by all the TikTok moves consumers have been watching and doing throughout the last few months. To encourage fans to get up and do the dance, in addition to Becky G, Jack in the Box has enlisted the help of some friends and fellow TikTok favorites, like Joshua Sadowski, The Williams Fam, and Matt McCall. Some of the TikTok stars have even created tutorials and GIFs to break down the moves for fans.
"We've been looking forward to introducing this new crave-able and indulgent chicken sandwich and what better way to celebrate this launch than partnering with global superstar, Becky G," Adrienne Ingoldt, senior vice president and chief brand experience officer for Jack in the Box, said in the release. "Her personality reflects the limitless nature of our consumers. We knew by having her be a part of this launch, we'd truly create our own iconic moment within culture."
The Cluck Sandwich is an LTO. But it can be upgraded to the Cluck Deluxe Sandwich at the chain's 2,200-plus restaurants in 21 states. Jack in the Box is based in San Diego.
