With 1 in 5 children in America facing hunger daily, Jack in the Box is partnering with No Kid Hungry this September to support families struggling with food insecurity. Throughout Hunger Action Month, Jack in the Box restaurants nationwide will offer customers a chance to give back and enjoy a tasty treat, according to a press release.
For the entire month, guests who donate $1 to No Kid Hungry will receive a coupon for a free small curly fry on their next visit. This marks a continuation of Jack in the Box's longstanding partnership with the organization, dating back to 2015.
"Serving craveable food is what we do, so helping feed kids is a mission that resonates deeply with our franchisees and employees," Ryan Ostrom, CMO of Jack in the Box, said in the press release. "It's been nearly a decade of partnering with No Kid Hungry, and one of my favorite things is the dedication and passion our team members bring to this cause every year, trying to surpass what they raised the year prior. We wanted to make this offer a win-win for our guests, who can support No Kid Hungry while receiving free curly fries."
Jack in the Box aims to raise $1 million this September, adding to the $4.6 million already collected through their partnership. All 2,200 Jack in the Box locations across the U.S. will participate, with 100% of donations going directly to No Kid Hungry.
No Kid Hungry works with communities nationwide to strengthen existing programs like school breakfast, after-school meals, and summer feeding initiatives.
