The Dr. Phil Show has released snippets of recordings of Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesman, in which he admits to child sex abuse, Patch.com reported. The recordings are part of commercials promoting a two-part special on Fogle to air today and tomorrow.
Former journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond, who claims she worked with the FBI and ore a wire to secretly record conversations with Fogle, will appear on today’s program, the report stated.
Fogle’s home was raided in July as part of a child pornography investigation, and in August he pled guilty to having sex with minors and distributing child porn.
Fogle rose to fame in 1999 for losing more than 200 pounds claiming he ate a diet of nothing but Subway sandwiches. Fogle then became a national spokesman for Subway and traveled around the country making appearances about living a healthy lifestyle, .
Fogle had admitted in a plea agreement he had sex with multiple young victims during his employment time with Subway.
