Jeremiah's set to cool the heat in Jacksonville Beach

Orlando-based Jeremiah's Italian Ice will open a store in Jacksonville Beach this month at 1500 Beach Blvd., less than two miles from the Jacksonville Beach Pier, according to a news release.

Ponte Vedra Beach resident, Chris Harvey and a partner own the store, and plan more locations across Duval County.

"It's in Jeremiah's culture to create a memorable experience," Harvey said in the release. "We show that through the vivid colors of our shop and the unique flavors we offer. Growing up in Orlando, the brand was always visible in the community and at local events displaying its generosity. It was our goal to bring that same energy and community involvement to Jacksonville Beach."

Jeremiah's Gelati features layers of Italian Ice swirled with homemade soft ice cream. The Jacksonville Beach location will include an open-air layout, as well as offering drive-thru service and outdoor seating.

Jeremiah's Italian Ice, which began franchising in 2019, has more than 30 locations throughout Florida, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. The brand is currently offering franchises across the southern United States.
