November 16, 2008

WHAS11: A judge has ordered McDonald's Corp. to pay $2.4 million in attorney fees to a former employee forced to strip after someone called a Mount Washington, Ky., restaurant posing as a police officer.

Louise Ogborn sued McDonald's and was awarded $5 million in punitive damages and about $1.1 million in compensatory damages in October 2007.

McDonald's has appealed, and the case is pending at the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
