Kahala Brands selects new VP of franchise development

Kahala Brands has selected John Wuycheck to join the company as senior vice president of franchise development.

Kahala Brands, a franchisor of Blimpie, Cold Stone Creamery, Johnnie's New York Pizzeria, TacoTime, Pizza Fresh, Kahala Coffee Traders, America's Taco Shop and more has selected John Wuycheck to join the company as senior vice president of franchise development. Wuycheck brings more than 14 years' experience in the business.  

"We are thrilled to have John here to lead our franchise development team," said Jeff Smit, COO of Kahala Brands, in a statement. "He will work hand-in-hand with our community of area developers to continue to push our brands to the next level. John will be a great asset and we look forward to the future of the company with him on board."

Wuycheck held the position of VP of franchising at Home Smart, International most recently and prior to that headed up franchising for such brands as Edible Arrangements, Seattle's Best Coffee Company, a subsidiary of Starbucks Corporation, and Cold Stone Creameryfrom 2001 to 2009.
