KFC has entered the footwear trade this month through a partnership with the molded shoe mavens at Crocs to create Kentucky Fried Chicken X Crocs Clogs, a news release said.

The two companies created a pair of limited edition Crocs styles, including a lofty platform called the Kentucky Fried Chicken X Crocs Bucket Clog, and a less cutting-edge Kentucky Fried Chicken X Crocs Classic Clog. In fact, artist MLMA (as in "Me Love Me a Lot") debuted the trendier version last night at New York Fashion Week, the release said.

The shoes feature a pattern of the chicken brand's edibles, as well as its red-striped bucket. They also come with removable, chicken-scented Jibbitz charms that look like fried chicken drumsticks.

The unisex-sized classic clogs sell for $59.99, but the brands did not provide any prices for those platforms.

KFC has not yet started to sell the footwear, but when it does, the brand will seek to gain a promotional lift out of the partnership by urging its social media followers to post pictures of their newly shod feet.
