KFC is the first major US fast food chain to enter Myanmar, according to the Taipei Times.

The island is bracing for an influx of international food outlets, the article said, as franchise holder Yoma Strategic plans to open its first KFC in downtown Yangon. Yoma has scheduled several KFC openings to launch by the end of the year.
