PARIS — KFC International is partnering with the NBA in France as part of NBA Europe Live Tour presented by EA SPORTS. The company said this partnership will help reach its young, urban and dynamic demographic who are basketball fans.
In conjunction with this partnership, KFC France launched the "Smash Your Hunger" ("Smash Ta Faim") contest on Sept. 5, the same day the San Antonio Spurs established their training camp in France. The San Antonio Spurs will play a game against the Adecco ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne club at the Astroballe of Villeurbanne on Oct. 5, and two-time Euroleague Basketball Champions Maccabi Elite Tel-Aviv in the Paris-Bercy arena on Oct. 8.
According to a news release, KFC France customers can participate in the contest at smash-ta-faim.com until Sept. 29. The goal of the contest is to score as many basketball shots as possible, advancing from level to level. The winner of the online contest will have the chance to score a three-point basket during one of the timeouts in the game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Maccabi Elite Tel-Aviv in front of 13,500 spectators at the Paris-Bercy arena.
