KFC releases first bucket in nearly 10 years

KFC is dropping its first new bucket in almost a decade featuring its newly launched Mashed Potato Poppers. The Dunk In Bucket is packed with the brand's hand-breaded Original Recipe Tenders, Secret Recipe Fries and Mashed Potato Poppers with the guest's choice of sauces, according to a press release.

The Mashed Potato Poppers feature creamy mashed potatoes that have been fried.

"Our new Mashed Potato Poppers transform a legendary KFC classic into a crunchy can't-resist bite of perfection," Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president, KFC U.S., said in the press release. "And the Dunk It Bucket? Oh, it's a dream come true for sauce lovers — dip it, dunk it, drench it, do your thing. It's our first brand-new bucket in nearly a decade, and trust me, it was so worth the wait!"

The buckets are priced at $7 for one or feed family, friends and teammates for $25.
