CBS3 (Springfield, Mass.): A recently opened co-branded KFC/Taco Bell restaurant in Springfield, Mass., is drawing attention not only for the menu but for its green features, which include:
- Converting used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel
- Using packaging made from recycled materials
- Using paper instead of plastic bags
- A building made from recycled materials
- Using solar lighting
- Capturing rain water to use to water the lawn
