Krispy Kreme CFO, general counsel resign

BizJournal.com: Winston-Salem-based Krispy Kreme said chief financial officer Michael Phalen, who's been with the company since January 2004, will leave the comapny in June return to return to investment banking Doug Muir, now Krispy Kreme's chief accounting officer, will succeed him.
 
Charles A. Blixt, who has served as Krispy Kreme's interim general counsel since last September, also will step down from that post and hand over the company's legal reins to Sandra K. Michel. Michel, the new executive vice president and general counsel, was most recently senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for La Quinta Corp.
