Krispy Kreme cooks up K-Cups

The Krispy Kreme doughnut chain is sending its coffee home with fans for one-touch brewing from new K-Cup packs, the company announced.

The Krispy Kreme doughnut chain is sending its coffee home with fans for one-touch brewing, the company announced.

Krispy Kreme Coffee in Smooth and Decaf blends are now available in K-Cup packs at participating grocers, Krispy Kreme locations, and online at www.Keurig.com.

"Krispy Kreme has been brightening people's day with the great taste of our doughnuts and coffee for 77 years," said Dwayne Chambers, chief marketing and innovation officer for Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp., in the announcement. "We are delighted to partner with Keurig to deliver the great taste of Krispy Kreme Coffee to our fans in fresh and convenient K-Cup packs."

Each Krispy Kreme Coffee blend is available in 12-count boxes of K-Cup packs at participating U.S. grocery stores and Krispy Kreme Doughnut shops. Krispy Kreme Coffee fans can also purchase 24-count boxes of K-Cup packs at Keurig.com and KrispyKreme.com.

"We are thrilled to offer Keurig brewer owners the convenience of making Krispy Kreme Coffee in their own home," said Dave Sachs, VP of global hot systems beverages for Keurig Green Mountain Inc., in the announcement. "It underscores our commitment to offer our consumers the best in quality and variety for the Keurig system."

Shoppers also can enter for a chance to win a year's supply of Krispy Kreme coffee in K-Cup packs by completing an entry form at participating Krispy Kreme locations Sept. 1-29.
