Hamilton Journal-News (Ohio): Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. has agreed to pay a $40,000 fine for hiring illegal immigrants at a plant in southwest Ohio. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said an audit revealed the company had employed 25 unauthorized workers locally and did not have required paperwork for all workers at the plant.
Krispy Kreme spokesman Brian Little said the company cooperated fully with the ICE and is committed to complying with all laws and regulations in the communities where it does business.
