Krispy Kreme partners with Warner Bros. for superhero doughnut line

Krispy Kreme and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products have teamed up on a line of superhero doughnuts called the "Hungry for Heroes" line. The DC heroes include Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, according to a press release.

The limited edition line includes:

• Superman Doughnut — an unglazed shell doughnut filled with white Kreme, dipped in light blue icing and topped with Superman buttercreme flavored clouds, decorated with an image of Superman and sprinkle blend.
• Batman Doughnut — an unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookies & Kreme, dipped in black chocolate icing and topped with a Bat emblem.
• Wonder Woman Doughnut — an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in red raspberry flavored icing, topped with white stars and blue sprinkles and a Wonder Woman logo and belt.

"Our new DC Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman doughnuts are truly in a 'League' of their own," Dave Skena, chief growth officer at Krispy Kreme, said in the release. "You'll be a super hero with these doughnuts by saving the day at any summer gathering or event."

Krispy Kreme is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and operates in more than 40 countries.
