April 11, 2012

Kenneth A. May, who was named president and chief operating officer of Krispy Kreme in November, has resigned citing personal reasons.

CEO James H. Morgan will reassume the role of president of the Winston-Salem, N.C.-based brand, effective immediately.

"We think well of Ken and wish him the very best," Morgan said.

Prior to joining Krispy Kreme, May served as president and CEO of FedEx Corporation's Kinko's Office and Print Centers, and led the integration of Kinko's into FedEx.
