Krispy Kreme raises brand awareness with new packaging, products

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has introduced new branded packaging for its products sold in convenience, mass merchant and grocery stores. New and upgraded packaging, new products and better display graphics are all part of the company's efforts to grow the brand’s presence.

Some of the new packaging elements include:

  • Better graphics for shelf appeal
  • Improved graphic consistency among multiple product lines for easy consumer shopping
  • Stronger packaging for continued product quality

Krispy Kreme products that are now in the new packaging include the Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Kreme Filling, Chocolate Iced Glazed and Raspberry Filled doughnuts. The new line of doughnuts introduced include the Dipped Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes, Dipped Cake Doughnuts in snack bags and Krispy Juniors – Dipped Cake Doughnuts.

"We are committed to the packaged goods component of our business," said Jim Morgan, Krispy Kreme's president and chief executive officer. "Exciting new products and improved marketing efforts, like the packaging upgrades we announced today, are expected to help us increase sales in this important distribution channel."
