Ltd. for the development of 80 franchise Krispy Kreme retail shops in the next five years across the South and West regions of the country. Citymax Hotels Pvt. Ltd. is part of the Dubai-based Landmark Group, one of the largest retailers in India and the Middle East.
"With Citymax Hotels Pvt. "We believe that their unique and sound understanding of the Indian consumer, combined with their years of successful business experience across a variety of retail concepts, is a strong asset for them as they establish the Krispy Kreme brand in the South and West regions of India."
Krispy Kreme can be found in more than 21 countries. The North Carolina-based brand signed its first development deal in India in May with new franchisee Bedrock Food Company Pvt. Ltd. Under that agreement, Bedrock Food Company is expected to open 35 stores throughout the next five years. The stores will be located in six states in the North region of India, which includes the cities of Delhi, Jaipur and Lucknow.
