Krispy Kreme, Taste of the South seek dessert recipe

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. and Taste of the South magazine have announced their partnership in a search for the ultimate KrispyKreme doughnut dessert recipe. Entries for an original recipe using any variety of Krispy Kreme doughnuts may be submitted through Oct. 15, 2007.
A panel of five judges including Krispy Kreme executive chef Ron Rupocinski and editor of Taste of the South magazine Lorna Reeves will judge each entry and announce the grand-prize winner in November.
Prizes include Lodge cookware, a Viking mixer and Krispy Kreme gift cards.
