Krispy Kreme terminates franchise licenses for Great Circle

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. said Thursday it has terminated the franchise licenses of its financially troubled Southern California franchisee, Great Circle Family Foods LLC. Krispy Kreme, based in Winston-Salem, N.C., said Great Circle has defaulted of its franchise agreements due to nonpayment of royalty and brand-fund fees. Great Circle operates 28 Krispy Kreme locations.
