Krispy Krunchy Chicken has inked a deal with EG America, a convenience, coffee and fuel retailer in the U.S., to open locations under several of its banners, primarily Cumberland Falls. The first five locations will launch inside Cumberland Farms stores across the Florida panhandle, beginning with the Santa Rosa Beach store, which will open Sept. 22, according to a press release.
"Our launch with Cumberland Farms in Florida is an important step for us, as it strengthens our presence in a key market and aligns Krispy Krunchy with one of the most recognized convenience store brands in the country," Jim Norberg, CEO of Krispy Krunchy Chicken, said in the press release. "We're building tremendous momentum, now serving all 48 contiguous states, and this collaboration highlights the strength of our premium offerings and the kind of partnerships they continue to attract."
In addition to Santa Rosa Beach, Krispy Krunchy plans to open locations with Cumberland Farms in Destin, Gulf Breeze, Navarre and Panama City, with more to be announced later this year. All Florida panhandle sites are expected to open by the end of 2025, with further growth on the horizon in Florida and beyond.
"We're excited to bring Krispy Krunchy Chicken and their highly craveable menu items to our North Florida locations," Brian Ferguson, CMO, EG America, said in the press release. "Cumberland Farms is a daily destination for millions thanks to our exceptional coffee, fast and friendly service and unmatched convenience. Partnering with Krispy Krunchy allows us to elevate the food experience even further by delivering the quality and flavor our customers want, right when they need it."
Krispy Krunchy Chicken operates more than 3,400 quick-serve locations in all 48 of the contiguous United States, selling over a million pounds of chicken every week.
