Krystal debuts Spicy Southern Chik Basket

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Krystal Co. has introduced its new Spicy Southern Chik Basket served with Fiesta Waffle Fries.
A spicy, crispier variation of Krystal's popular Chik sandwich, the Spicy Southern Chik features a chicken filet marinated with classic hot sauce flavors of spicy cayenne peppers, tangy vinegar and other seasonings, all coated with a light and crispy southern-style breading. The Spicy Southern Chik is topped with a pickle and mayonnaise and served on a Krystal bun.
Available systemwide starting Nov. 17, the combo is served in a basket that includes two Spicy Southern Chiks along with a spicy, seasoned Fiesta Waffle Fries and a medium beverage. The complete meal is available for a suggested retail price of $4.39.
The Spicy Southern Chik Basket with Fiesta Waffle Fries is the latest of a number of new product offerings at Krystal that complement the company's core menu items, including Krystal MilkQuakes and Krystal Freezes.
