Krystal puts pups out for peeps

Just in time for the first Major League Baseball games set to begin on July 23, Krystal is putting that baseball mainstay — the hot dog — on its LTO menu in the form of $1 chili cheese pups, starting July 13, according to a press release.

The pups are loaded with chili, cheddar and classic yellow mustard. Select stores will also will offer a combo deal including two chili cheese pups and a small order of tots for $3.99.

To wash it all down, the burger QSR is pushing its summer slushies that combine Sprite, crushed ice and either fruit punch, grape or lemonade flavors in an icy beverage.

Drive-thrus at the Southeastern U.S. chain are operating 6 a.m. to midnight daily and delivery is also offered through UberEats, DoorDash and Grubhub. The Atlanta-based chain has about 300 restaurants in nine states.
