Krystal puts shrimp in the 'Mix'

Krystal is putting its Shrimp Po' Boy in its Mix for $5 value through April 16, in partnership with King & Prince Seafood, according to a release. The fried shrimp and tartar sauce sandwich is also offered as a basket with the Buffalo, barbecue or Texas petal sauce. 

To promote the menu offering, Krystal is giving guests a coupon for a free po' boy when they enter the chain's vacation sweepstakes that will send one family to the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort in Georgia. After registering for the giveaway on the Krystal website or Facebook page, guests get a sweepstakes entry and a chance to play the brand's Shrimp Spin & Win Game to win one of 25 second-place $10 gift card prizes.

And of course, there's a social media component to this, too. Krystal said those who share the sweepstakes news on Facebook can earn extra chances to win the vacation. Everyone who registers gets a coupon for a free shrimp po' boy when they buy another meal.
