Krystal 'Qs up' Memphis-style sliders

Atlanta-based Krystal is proudly touting its regional culinary claim to fame with its latest LTO, Memphis BBQ sliders, available Aug. 31, according to a company press release.
"The National Pork Board and our partnering American pig farmers are proud to support Krystal in adding barbecue to its menu," James Murray, the National Pork Board world-certified executive chef, who worked with Krystal to create the LTO. "Memphis BBQ sliders are a crave-worthy menu addition that Krystal fans are going to love."
The offering uses slow-smoked pork, slathered in Memphis barbecue sauce with a pickle on a steamed bun for $1.69. Guests can make it a combo by adding other Southern-inspired menu items including onion rings, a banana pudding shake or watermelon slushie.
On Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4-7, DoorDash will give free delivery of Krystal orders.
Krystal has 300 stores in nine states.
