Layne's Chicken Fingers signs deal for Virginia, Washington DC area

Layne's Chicken Fingers has inked a deal for multiple units in Northern Virginia, according to a press release.

The brand will work with an unnamed longtime franchise owner with experience at Marriott International and The Halal Guys to develop Layne's restaurants across the entire state of Virginia and in D.C. The franchisee signed an agreement in October after connecting with the Layne's corporate team.

"We're thrilled to have connected with this new franchisee, who is a valued asset to the Layne's team. He has a clear excitement about bringing this brand to the Northern Virginia area, and we couldn't be happier to be on this journey with him," Samir Wattar, COO for Layne's Chicken Fingers, said in the press release. "This is another great step for the Layne's Chicken Finger system."

Layne's has sold 60 franchises in the last 16 months.
