The restaurant will be operated by multi-unit QSR group C5 Restaurants, which is based in Lubbock. The company currently operates four Layne's restaurants in Arkansas and has a 55-unit development pipeline across Arkansas and Texas. C5 Restaurants also operates Fazoli'sand Smalls Sliders locations throughout Texas.

Layne's said it awarded agreements for more than 50 future restaurants during the first quarter of 2026, while also signing 16 new leases nationwide. The company plans to open more than 30 additional locations this year.
