California-based Lee's Sandwiches is giving frontline responders free coffee and croissants Friday through Jan. 18 at the chain's 60 locations across eight states, a news release said.
"Lee's Sandwiches recognizes the immense sacrifices, vital efforts and commitment of all frontline workers protecting our communities against Covid-19," CEO Chieu Le said in the release. "Due to the overwhelming turnout for our free Appreciation Meals provided in May, we hope to continue to show our deep gratitude with a cup of coffee and croissant."
The QSR specializes in Bánh Mì, Vietnamese sandwiches and coffee and other Euro-Asian food products. The company is based in San Jose.
