Legislator to honor White Castle's 85th birthday

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Rep. Larry Flowers will make an appearance at the White Castle home office July 20 to deliver a commendation from the Ohio House of Representatives to the leaders of the first fast-food hamburger restaurant in honor of the chain's 85th anniversary.
"It is an honor to present White Castle with such an award for the invaluable impact the company has made on Ohio's economy and our communities," Rep. Flowers said. "Our state is a better place because of companies like White Castle."
Flowers is Majority Floor Leader in his third term in office.
