LG Electronics to offer restaurant kiosks in Korea

LG Electronics has entered the restaurant kiosk business, according to a report in the Korea JoongAng Daily.

The company said it will introduce a self-ordering kiosk featuring a 27-inch touchscreen for restaurants in Korea, and will expand to overseas markets within the year.

The company teamed with Nice TCM, a financial services provider, for the kiosk software, and received environmentally friendly certification from the country's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
