Lion's Choice to open shared bank location in Illinois

St. Louis-based QSR Lion's Choice said it will open a new location on Regency Park Drive in O'Fallon, Illinois this summer. In fact, the new restaurant has a unique format where it will share a reception area with Reliance Bank to enhance customer options and convenience, a news release said.

"Both at our restaurants and through social media, our customers have told us they would like to see Lion's Choice expand into Illinois," Lion's Choice CEO Mike Kupstas said in the release. "After a long absence from the metro east, we are thrilled to be back in this thriving location! ... We feel we have found the perfect location to allow us to successfully expand our footprint into Illinois."   

Figures from the State of Illinois estimate a visitor count of more than 400,000 people per year to the area, combined with more than 75,000 cars per day, traveling along the very busy nearby I-64. 

The 51-year-old chain has 23 locations throughout metro St. Louis.
