Locali health convenience chain signs multi-unit Miami deal

Los Angeles-based health-conscious convenience store, Locali, has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with Viable Foods, LLC to expand the brand into the greater South Beach/ Miami, Florida area. This deal marks the first expansion outside of California for Locali, which plans to introduce its healthy convenience model to markets nationwide, a news release said.

The franchisee, Roy Casiano of Viable Foods, and his wife, Deanna Snyder, are veterans of the food industry, including positions at Casiano's and the Estiatorio Milos chain of high-end Mediterranean restaurants.  

The 9-year-old Locali chain is seeking U.S. franchise partners. The chain currently has locations in West Hollywood, Hollywood, Venice Beach and downtown Los Angeles, and is opening its first East Coast stores in the South Beach Miami area this year.
