August 17, 2006

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Long John Silver's is converting its more than 500 company-owned restaurants to serve PepsiCo products, including Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist and Tropicana Lemonade. Conversions began in July and should be completed by the end of August, the company said.

More than 175 franchisee-owned Long John Silver's restaurants were already serving Pepsi before the company restaurant conversion began.

In addition to Long John Silver's and A&W All-American Food, PepsiCo products are currently served at all company-owned restaurants in the Yum! Brands family, including KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

"PepsiCo offers a portfolio of food and beverage brands and marketing expertise that is second to none in the industry," said Steve Provost, chief marketing officer for Long John Silver's and A&W Restaurants Inc.
"The combination of the world's most famous quick-service fish and seafood and PepsiCo's world-famous beverages will produce a great dining experience for our customers."
