MaggieMoo's scoops up ice cream honors

ATLANTA — MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery was recently recognized for its super-premium ice cream at the National Ice Cream Retailers Association awards, the company has announced.
The brand took home a number of honors, including:
- First place, Chocolate Ice Cream
- First place, Dark Chocolate Ice Cream
- Second place, Vanilla Bean flavor
- Third place, Vanilla Ice Cream
The awards were announced at the National Ice Cream Association's 75th Annual Convention. The ice cream is scored according to color, texture, taste and other factors that determine the quality of the product. A total of 25 vanilla and 20 chocolate samples were submitted this year.
Dave McDougall, vice president QSR operations for NexCen Franchise Management, said it was an honor to be recognized for the brand's ice cream flavors, noting that MaggieMoo's Ice Cream has won ribbons for product quality with NICRA each year since 1998.
MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery is managed by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.
