Loren Goodridge has been named recipient of the 2010 Subway President's Award.
Goodridge owns and operates 18 Subway units in Maine and southern New Hampshire. He has served as president of the North American Association of Subway Franchisees (NAASF) where he participated in committees that reviewed and advised topics such as the brand's point of sale system and global strategic plan.
Goodridge has also put his efforts toward lobbying for legislative issues that affect franchise business.
Prior to joining the Subway team almost 20 years ago, Goodridge was a member of a U.S. Navy Submarine Crew.
“I feel so fortunate that I chose Subway upon leaving the Navy and have been able to contribute to the growth of the brand in such a positive way,” Goodridge said. “My input into the company’s strategic plan comes directly from the hundreds of franchisees I meet and speak with every day. We are now the number one chain in the world in terms of stores; now we are going to put an even greater focus on being the number one chain for franchisee profitability and a great customer experience.”
