Marble Slab cools things off to promote unlimited mix-ins

To celebrate the first day of summer June 21, Marble Slab Creamery in Sugar Land, Texas, created 1 foot of snow in its parking lot. Customers who wore winter clothes and gear received a buy-one-get-one ice cream offer. Customers who wore winter clothing to any Marble Slab Creamery or MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery location across the country also received the ice cream offer.

According to a news release, the winter-inspired promotion was part of "The Marble Slab Mix-Up," intended to promote Marble Slab and MaggieMoo's "Unlimited Mix-Ins" pricing, which allows customers to select the size of their homemade ice cream treat and add as many mix-ins for a set price.
