Marble Slab Creamery, Great American Cookies celebrate US's 250th with limited-time items

Sister dessert chains Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookies are rolling out a lineup of red, white and blue treats in celebration of America's 250th birthday, according to a press release.

As part of the holiday lineup, Marble Slab Creamery is featuring its new Stars & Stripes Swirl Ice Cream, which blends strawberry, blue cotton candy and sweet cream ice cream. The chain is also offering red, white and blue sprinkles as a limited-time mix-in for any flavor.

Great American Cookies is introducing its own Stars & Stripes Sprinkles across its selection of cookies, Double Doozies, cookie cake slices and signature Cookie Cakes. To mark the holiday, the chain will also offer a free Stars & Stripes Sprinkle Cookie to active-duty military members and veterans from July 1 through July 4 at participating locations. Valid military or veteran identification is required.
