Beginning in June, McDonald's will offer three new varities of its signature Quarter Pounder Burger, including bacon habanero ranch, deluxe and bacon and cheese.
According to a news release, the introduction of the new Quarter Pounder Burgers is part of McDonald's efforts to evolve its menu with more "relevant food and beverage choices."
During the Sanford Bernstein 2013 Strategic Decisions Conference Wednesday, CEO Don Thompson said the company's focus is particularly on beef, chicken, beverages and breakfast.
"We know that larger sandwiches, both new and core, power our topline growth and the work we've done to build our premium beef burgers is just one way we brought this principle to life," he said. "These (Quarter Pounder) sandwiches offer even more variety and they build on the core burger lineup our customers know and love."

McDonald's customers will also still be able to order the classic Quarter Pounder Burger.
