McDonald's aims for bigger bite of Europe

Business.scotsman.com: McDonald's is planning a year of major investment in Europe as part of the company's renewed focus on the continent.
The restaurant giant is investing £544 million (about U.S. $1.1 billion) in its operations in Europe, matching its spending plans for the United States, despite having half the number of restaurants there.
