McDonald's announces dividend increase

OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald's board of directors has declared an annual cash dividend of $1.50 per share payable Dec. 3, 2007, to shareholders of record as of Nov. 15, 2007 — a 50-percent increase over the company's 2006 dividend of $1 per share.

McDonald's has raised its dividend every year since paying its first dividend in 1976.
