McDonald's banking on breakfast in China

Reuters: McDonald's Corp. is looking at breakfast as a long-term strategy to boost profits from its China operations. McDonald's breakfast sales doubled in China last year, according to the company.
 
About 80 percent of Chinese consumers eat breakfast, according to Tim Fenton, head of McDonald's Asia-Pacific unit, and 68 percent of those consumers eat breakfast away from home.
