McDonald's brings back McRib, but it could be its last year again

The McRib is back on McDonald's menu through Nov. 20, but could it be the last year for the fan-favorite sandwich? The Chicago-based brand is hinting at an expiration date for the McRib, which first appeared in Kansas City in 1981, according to a People report.

"Enjoy our famous pork sandwich as if it's your last!" McDonald's has posted on its website.

The McRib has become famous for its limited-time runs despite flopping during its debut, People says. It's been on and off the menu over the decades.

Time will tell if it's the McRib's last hurrah — again.
