McDonald's Canada among best employers

TORONTO — McDonald's Restaurants of Canada Ltd., has been chosen as one ofCanada's 50 best employers, the only quick-service restaurant in the countryto earn the honor. McDonald's ranked No. 36.
Compiled by Hewitt and Associates for the Globe and Mail's Report onBusiness Magazine and La Presse, the national ranking is determined by employees, who fill out a comprehensive opinion questionnaire.
Each year, McDonald's Canada conducts internal employee surveys to getfeedback on how well the company is doing. The most recent survey of nearly42,000 people showed that 84 percent agreed or strongly agreed that they felt valuedas an employee of McDonald's, and that 86 percent said they were proud to be workingat McDonald's.
McDonald's Canada also was recently named one of Canada's 10Most Admired Corporate Cultures.
