McDonald's CFO to retire

OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald's Corp. chief financial officer Matthew Paull plans to retire by the end of the year, the company announced.
 
Paull, who was named CFO in 2001, will pursue a teaching career.
 
An internal and external search for Paull's successor will begin soon, said McDonald's CEO Jim Skinner.
