McDonald's Canada is partnering with a food delivery provider, SkipTheDishes, this month to launch delivery in select western Canada cities, with roll-out across the country by year's end, a news release said. McDonald's Canada offers "McDelivery" from more than 500 Canadian outlets.
"McDelivery continues to be an exciting way for us to connect with our guests outside the restaurant and an opportunity for us to deliver a personalized and convenient guest experience," McDonald's Canada Delivery Director Dan Logan said in the release.
The full menu at participating McDonald's restaurants will be available for delivery with the exception of soft-serve cones. Likewise, coupons, mobile offers and promotional offers are excluded from delivery, though the company also recently announced the addition of mobile ordering, as well as table service and self-order kiosks.
The brand has been in Canada since 1967, and today serves about 3 million guests daily at 1,400 Canadian restaurants.
