McDonald's earnings due Friday

BusinessWeek: Analysts expect McDonald's to report first-quarter earnings of 62 cents per share, according to a poll of analysts by Thomson Financial. The strong results also show that more consumers are looking to save money by having a meal at McDonald's instead of a higher-end neighborhood restaurant, they say.
