McDonald's enters product-placement partnership with TV news

The New York Times: The anchors on the Fox affiliate in Las Vegas, KVVU, sit with cups ofMcDonald'sfake iced coffee on their desks during the news-and-lifestyle portion of their morning show.
 
Executives at the station say the six-month promotion is meant to shore up advertising revenue and will not influence content.
