McDonald's gets in a St. Patty's Day mood with early release of Shamrock Shake

McDonald's has released its popular Shamrock Shake — usually found around St. Patrick's Day — early, according a The New York Post report.

The minty green refreshment — as well as its sister treat the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry — are now available at participating McDonald's restaurants.

Last year, the treats were released on Feb. 20.
