McDonald's global comps up 5.8% for Q3

OAK BROOK, Ill. — McDonald's credited strong breakfast sales and new Snack Wraps for its strong third-quarter sales.
Global comparable same-store sales for the third quarter rose 5.8 percent.
In the United States, same-store sales rose 4.1 percent for the period, while comps increased 7.6 percent in Europe. In the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions, same-store sales rose 6.1 percent.
