McDonald's Japan raises prices again this year

McDonald's in Japan will raise its prices about 60% as a result of rising costs and a weakened yen, according to a Reuters report.

It's the second price increase in Japan this year, the first since 2019.

The price of a Big Mac, which was 390 yen, will now cost 410 yen ($2.85), according to McDonald's Holding Company Japan Ltd. said in a statement. A cheeseburger will now cost 180 yen each, Other menu items will increase 10 to 30 yen.
